Google’s open source, cloud-based registry platform for operating top-level domains. Created by Google Nomulus is an open-source, top-level domain name registry service built on Google App Engine and written primarily in Java. It’s used internally by Google for it’s own TLDs such as .GOOGLE, .HOW, .SOY; for tracking domain ownership and handling registrations, renewals, etc. It’s scalable and can run any number of TLDs in a single, shared registry system.
