Sequel Pro is a fast and efficient database client for Mac. It’s also free and open-source. Unfortunately, not everyone has a Mac. But on the bright side, there are lots of alternatives for Windows and Linux. There are also self-hosted tools that require a web server but provide the same sort of management capabilities. Most alternatives are free and open-source like Sequel Pro. Some feature packed commercial tools exist as well. Sequel Pro is notably lightweight and has a visual query builder. There are similar tools, easily filtered using those as features.
